- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup cocoa
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter
- 2 eggs

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup hot water or coffee
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat Oven – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 pan.
- Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients – Combine flour, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Step 3: Mix Wet Ingredients – Whisk butter (melted), eggs, vanilla, and hot water or coffee in a separate bowl.
- Step 4: Combine Mixtures – Mix dry and wet ingredients together until smooth.
- Step 5: Bake – Pour batter into the pan and bake for 28–32 minutes.
- Step 6: Cool and Slice – Let cool before slicing into 9 pieces.
Notes
You can substitute coffee for a deeper chocolate flavor. Store in an airtight container.
