- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Step 1: Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Step 2: Add eggs and vanilla then mix until combined.
- Step 3: Combine dry ingredients separately and slowly mix into wet mixture.
- Step 4: Fold in chocolate chips.
- Step 5: Chill dough for 1 hour.
- Step 6: Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
Make sure butter is at room temperature for easier creaming. Don’t skip chilling for thicker cookies. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
