  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

Instructions :

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and milk.
  4. Combine wet and dry mixtures until just blended.
  5. Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with remaining batter and more cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar topping.

Notes

Freeze in individual slices for best storage and easy thawing.
