- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In one bowl, mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and milk.
- Combine wet and dry mixtures until just blended.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with remaining batter and more cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with additional cinnamon sugar topping.
Notes
Freeze in individual slices for best storage and easy thawing.
