- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup brewed espresso
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 3 oz bittersweet chocolate
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- ¼ tsp salt

Instructions:
- Brew espresso. Heat with milk and cream.
- In a bowl, whisk yolks, sugar, and cornstarch.
- Temper egg mixture with hot espresso blend.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat, stir in chocolate, butter, and salt.
- Strain and pour into jars. Chill 4+ hours.
- Serve with whipped mascarpone and chocolate curls.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality espresso and chocolate. Optional: add sea salt or caramel drizzle before serving.
