- 2 chicken breasts (halved)
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- Italian seasoning, salt, pepper
- Basil garnish
Instructions
- Boil Pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Prepare Chicken: Dredge chicken breasts in flour, season with salt and pepper, and sear in olive oil until golden brown on both sides. Remove from pan.
- Make Sauce: In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir and simmer.
- Combine: Return seared chicken to the pan and let simmer. Add pasta and toss everything together until well coated.
- Serve: Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot.
Notes
Save pasta water to adjust sauce thickness. Works with potatoes for a hearty twist. Serve with garlic bread and salad for a complete meal.
