Instructions
- Step 1: Select Pineapple – Choose a ripe MD2 Golden Pineapple that is fragrant at the base.
- Step 2: Prepare Fruit – Peel, core, and chop the pineapple into small chunks, reserving some pulp.
- Step 3: Extract Juice – Use a cold-press method to extract juice while preserving volatile compounds.
- Step 4: Combine Liquids – Pour the pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and rum into a high-speed blender.
- Step 5: Add Solids – Add the fresh pineapple chunks and pineapple pulp into the blender carafe.
- Step 6: Add Ice – Fill the blender with ice cubes to achieve the desired frozen consistency.
- Step 7: Blend – Process on high speed until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and fully emulsified.
- Step 8: Garnish and Serve – Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry.
Notes
Always use cream of coconut rather than coconut milk to ensure the correct fat-to-sugar ratio and prevent separation.
