Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cold brew coffee or 2 shots chilled espresso
- 1 pre-made protein shake (11 oz) or 1 scoop protein powder mixed with milk
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Optional: Sugar-free caramel or vanilla syrup
- Optional: A pinch of cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the coffee base: Brew your cold brew in advance or pull two espresso shots and let them cool completely to prevent clumping.
- Ice the glass: Fill a large glass or a shaker bottle at least halfway with fresh ice cubes.
- Add the coffee: Pour your chilled espresso or cold brew coffee over the ice to create a cold foundation.
- Incorporate the protein: Slowly pour the protein shake or your pre-mixed protein powder liquid over the coffee and ice.
- Mix the ingredients: Stir vigorously with a long spoon or secure the shaker lid and shake until the mixture is frothy and combined.
- Flavor and serve: Add any optional sugar-free syrups if desired and enjoy your proffee immediately while ice-cold.
Notes
To avoid protein clumping, always ensure your coffee is chilled or at room temperature before adding whey-based protein products.
