- 2 large eggs
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the filling – In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Step 2: Add eggs and milk – Beat in eggs and gradually stir in evaporated milk until smooth.
- Step 3: Bake the pie – Pour into pie shell and bake at 425°F for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 40-50 minutes more.
- Step 4: Cool and serve – Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving. Top with whipped cream if desired.
