Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare Roots – Thoroughly wash and slice the ginger and turmeric into thin rounds to expose the surface area.
- Step 2: Combine Ingredients – Add the sliced roots, peppercorns, and cinnamon stick to a medium saucepan with the water.
- Step 3: Simmer Mixture – Bring the water to a gentle boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Step 4: Strain Tea – Carefully pour the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into mugs to remove the solids.
- Step 5: Final Seasoning – Stir in the fresh lemon juice and honey to taste and serve while hot.
