- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- Step 1: Wash Produce – Rinse all fruits and herbs thoroughly under cold running water to remove any debris.
- Step 2: Slice Ingredients – Thinly slice the cucumber, lemon, and ginger to maximize the surface area for infusion.
- Step 3: Prep Strawberries – Hull and halve the strawberries to release their natural sweetness and color.
- Step 4: Release Herbs – Gently slap the mint leaves between your palms to bruise them and release their essential oils.
- Step 5: Assemble Pitcher – Place all prepared fruits, vegetables, and herbs into the bottom of a large glass pitcher.
- Step 6: Add Water – Fill the pitcher with 2 liters of cold filtered water and stir gently with a long spoon.
- Step 7: Chill Period – Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 to 4 hours to allow the flavors to fully meld.
- Step 8: Serve Drink – Pour the infused water into glasses over fresh ice and enjoy throughout the day.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, let the water infuse overnight in the refrigerator. Replace fruits after 24 hours to keep the water fresh.
