Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat Oven – Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Step 2: Mix Dry Base – In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Whisk Wet Ingredients – In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with the vanilla and anise extracts until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Combine Dough – Stir the egg mixture into the dry ingredients until a stiff dough forms.
  5. Step 5: Add Mix – ins – Fold in the toasted almonds and anise seeds until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
