Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6–8 oz each)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat Oven – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Prepare Chicken – Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and rub to coat evenly.
- Step 3: Season Meat – Season generously with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika on both sides.
- Step 4: Bake Chicken – Place seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is reached in the thickest part.
- Step 5: Rest and Serve – Remove from oven, cover loosely with foil, and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. Resting helps to keep the chicken juicy.
