- 2 tablespoons high-quality grass-fed beef gelatin powder
- 1/2 cup cold water for blooming
- Optional: 1 teaspoon raw honey for extra sweetness
Instructions
- Step 1: Bloom Gelatin – Pour 1/2 cup of cold water into a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin powder over the top to let it bloom for 5 minutes.
- Step 2: Heat Juice – Pour the 2 cups of fruit juice into a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until it reaches a gentle simmer.
- Step 3: Combine Ingredients – Remove the saucepan from heat and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until it is completely dissolved and no lumps remain.
- Step 4: Add Sweetener – If using honey, stir it into the warm mixture until fully integrated.
- Step 5: Pour Molds – Carefully pour the liquid into a glass baking dish or individual silicone molds.
- Step 6: Set Dessert – Place the dish in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until the jello is firm to the touch.
- Step 7: Serve – Cut into squares and serve chilled as a functional wellness snack.
Notes
Always use grass-fed beef gelatin to ensure you receive the amino acids glycine and proline for tissue repair.
