Instructions
- Step 1: Combine Ingredients – Whisk together the chia seeds, almond milk, vanilla, and sweetener in a medium glass jar.
- Step 2: Initial Stir – Mix vigorously for 60 seconds to ensure the seeds are fully submerged and not clumping.
- Step 3: Brief Rest – Let the mixture sit at room temperature for 10 minutes to allow initial hydration.
- Step 4: Secondary Stir – Stir the mixture once more to break up any settling seeds at the bottom of the jar.
- Step 5: Refrigerate – Cover the jar tightly and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Step 6: Portion and Serve – Spoon into small bowls and garnish with fresh berries before serving.
Notes
Ensure you are in the appropriate post-op phase for seeds. Chia seeds are excellent for preventing constipation common after bariatric surgery.
