Instructions
- Step 1: Marinate Chicken – Whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and oregano in a bowl, then coat chicken for 20 minutes.
- Step 2: Prepare Tzatziki – Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, and dill in a small bowl; season with salt and refrigerate.
- Step 3: Cook Poultry – Sauté the chicken in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Step 4: Prepare Vegetables – Wash and slice the lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and olives to ready them for assembly.
- Step 5: Warm Pita – Heat the pita rounds in a dry pan or oven for 30 seconds per side until soft and pliable.
- Step 6: Layer Sauce – Spread a generous tablespoon of Tzatziki sauce inside the pocket or across the center of each pita.
- Step 7: Assemble Sandwich – Fill each pita with a portion of cooked chicken followed by shredded lettuce and tomatoes.

Notes
For the best flavor, allow the chicken to marinate for up to 2 hours in the refrigerator. Ensure the cucumber is squeezed very dry to prevent a watery Tzatziki.
