Instructions
- Step 1: Bloom Gelatin – Pour the cold water into a medium bowl and sprinkle the unflavored gelatin evenly over the surface.
- Step 2: Hydrate – Let the gelatin sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until it becomes thick and applesauce-like in consistency.
- Step 3: Heat Juice – In a small saucepan, bring the fruit juice to a light simmer over medium heat, but do not let it boil.
- Step 4: Dissolve Mixture – Carefully pour the hot juice over the bloomed gelatin and whisk continuously until the powder is fully dissolved.
- Step 5: Add Flavor – Stir in the lemon juice and your preferred natural sweetener if you desire a sweeter treat.
- Step 6: Portion – Pour the liquid mixture into a 8×8 inch glass baking dish or individual silicone snack molds.
- Step 7: Chill – Refrigerate the gelatin for at least 3 to 4 hours until the mixture is completely firm and set.
- Step 8: Slice – Cut the set gelatin into small squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
