Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups mixed greens
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup cucumber, diced
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine Dressing Ingredients – In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, Parmesan cheese, chives, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, and salt until smooth.
- Step 2: Chill Dressing – Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dressing to thicken slightly.
- Step 3: Prepare Salad – In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced cucumber.
- Step 4: Dress Salad – Just before serving, drizzle the chilled homemade Parmesan Ranch dressing over the prepared salad. Toss gently to ensure all ingredients are coated evenly.
Notes
For an even richer dressing, use full-fat mayonnaise and buttermilk. Always ensure all your ingredients are fresh and properly stored. You can customize your salad with other favorite vegetables or grilled chicken for a heartier meal. Leftover dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
